World Day of Social Justice was celebrated during an assembly on February 20. A variety of social justice topics such as poverty, ADA, racial inequality and bullying, were highlighted through student- and faculty-made videos and poetry with a strong emphasis on unity and love. Speaker Mr. Anthony Miller focused on the small ways to show compassion and activism through every day actions. Students were encouraged to attend a follow-up forum to discuss the social justice issues they felt strongly about, as well as to discuss real ways to positively impact their communities.
