Robotics

Neumann Goretti has invigorated it’s academics by integrating  science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education programs, and 21 college prep course offerings in its curriculum.   Neumann Goretti understands that science and technology are extremely popular with today’s youth; they are also a pathway to career opportunities in the future. Engaging in technology activities when young can help to stimulate interest in those fields, develop mastery of necessary technologies, and energize the classroom. Robotics provides students with hands-on learning experiences, problem solving skills, and training for future STEM careers.

To show our commitment to STEM education and robotics, Neumann Goretti has developed a robotics program. The program is student centered, and it is the students who lead and push the team forward. Each team member has different skills, from gaming and 3D design to programming and animation.

Neumann Goretti is registered to compete in two competitions this year in the Mid Atlantic region. Neumann Goretti shares the same mission as First Robotics; to inspire young people to be science and technology leaders, by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that build science, engineering and technology skills, that inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership.
