Why Give?

Financial support and partnerships for Ss. John Neumann & Maria Goretti High School are meaningful commitments for a quality Catholic education. A sustainable annual gift program can provide the foundation needed to preserve and grow the only faith-based, college-preparatory high school in South Philadelphia. Gifts of personal significance create opportunities for program expansion and technology enhancements. Our school building and infrastructure are also in need of renovations that create a welcoming home for our students.

If you or your company would like to be empowered to designate your tax dollars to Neumann Goretti, there are opportunities to participate in Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program. Your involvement would provide scholarships and tuition assistance to support our faithful school families. Click here for more details on how you can reduce your business or individual tax liability through this unique, win-win, state-approved initiative.

Join our many other charitable partners walking side by side with our students, as these young men and women look to become the leaders of tomorrow, while studying in the halls of Neumann Goretti today! Contact the Advancement Office to learn more about all of the ways your charitable support can make a difference at Neumann Goretti.

Ways to Give

Many companies offer matching gift policies that can double or even triple a contribution made by one of its employees to Neumann Goretti. Your Human Resources department is the best source for this information, or our Advancement Office can help you find out if your employer will match your gift.

There are a variety of estate and planned giving opportunities that provide charitable support and potential tax-saving implications, including gifts of securities, bequests, retirement assets, charitable trusts, insurance, IRA rollovers, stocks and annuities, retained life estate, and other assets.

Recurring gifts are an ideal way to save you writing a check, addressing an envelope, and adding a stamp. You can check out our Giving Page and decide how much you want to contribute and how often, and your bank will automatically deduct your gift from your account. Even a modest gift given every month can equal a significant gift by year’s end.
