It’s #TeacherTuesday, where each week we spotlight a member of our outstanding faculty and staff! ⠀ ⠀ Today’s spotlight shines on Mrs. Rossi. After five years of teaching both Italian and Spanish, Mrs. Rossi was named World Language Department Head for the 2020-2021 school year. In addition to leading the department this year, Mrs. Rossi also teaches Italian for all grade levels and moderates the Italian Cultural Appreciation Club. She received her Bachelors in both Spanish and Italian from Temple University. Mrs. Rossi excels at developing classroom experiences with real-world applications. She brings great passion to the classroom and her students find her enthusiasm infectious! ⠀ ⠀ ? We asked Ms. Rossi: “What is a favorite compliment you have received as a teacher?” ⠀ ⠀ ?‍? Ms. Rossi told us: “A favorite compliment I have received as a teacher is, “I love you, Mrs. Rossi!” I love my students too. They have enriched my life beyond measure.” ⠀ ⠀ ? We also asked Ms. Rossi: “Share with us the best advice you have ever received.” ⠀ ⠀ ?‍? She told us: “The best advice I have ever received is, “This is it. This is life. What does it hold for you at this moment?” It keeps me focused on uncovering the silver linings in all situations.”
