Mr. Cairy is a proud St. John Neumann graduate and comes to us after serving over two decades as an administrator at Widener University. His most recent position being the Executive Director of Student Success. He holds a bachelor’s degree in History and master’s degrees in both Public Administration and Secondary Education.

Ms. Eife joined Ss. John Neumann and Maria Goretti Catholic School in September, 2022. She has served in Catholic Education for over 22 years as a classroom teacher, department chair, academic dean, director of high school and principal. Ms. Eife’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree from Temple University and a Master of Science degree from Drexel University. She is certified in the Biology and Chemistry disciplines and completed a graduate certificate program in Advanced Teaching and Curriculum from Drexel University. Ms. Eife believes in working collaboratively with faculty to provide an innovative, cross curricular academic program that fosters creativity, critical thinking and problem solving. She strives to create an atmosphere of open communication with students, parents and guardians to foster conversation that empowers students to reach their full potential.

Mr. Huckel started teaching for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia in 2010 after graduating from La Salle University with bachelor’s degrees in Secondary Education and Spanish. Most recently, he served as World Languages Department Chair at Father Judge High School where he taught Spanish for twelve years, strongly embracing Salesian Spirituality. He is currently completing his master’s degree in Educational Leadership at St. Joseph’s University.

Mr. Hemsley is a graduate of Berklee College of Music and Boston University. In addition to his degrees in education Mr. Hemsley has earned a professional certificate in musical composition from the European American Musical Alliance in conjunction with L’Ecole Normale du Musique in Paris, FR. He has spent the last 17 years teaching ensemble music, composition, and music technology to Philadelphia area music students.
Mr. Hemsley is excited to be back at Neumann Goretti after a 10 year absence, and to be in a position to effect positive change on the institution and its students. When he is not at NG, Mr. Hemsley directs the Saint Joseph’s University Hawk Band.

Maria is a Saint Maria Goretti graduate. She also holds a paralegal certification. Maria retired from the Federal government as a Human Resources Professional specializing in Labor/Management negotiations. She is a long time volunteer for the Camden County NJ Court system as a Fee Arbitrator. As an Administrative Assistant she enjoys her work at Saints Neumann and Goretti and interacting with the students highlights her day. Maria is the mother of 2 adult daughters and 4 grandchildren.

Denise is a lifelong South Philadelphia resident, a 1984 graduate of St Maria Goretti HS and a proud parent of three Neumann Goretti graduates. She has worked in the Tuition Office since 2013 and her role includes collections, billing and financial aid coordinator.
Denise is a graduate of LaSalle University with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting. She worked in the insurance industry in roles including Financial Analyst, Internal Auditor and Manager of Surety Collections Department.

Mr. Brightcliffe is a Holy Family University graduate. He joined Neumann-Goretti in 2023 after beginning his teaching career in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia teaching at the grade school level. He initially joined the NG community as a teacher and has taught in our Social Studies and Theology departments. Mr. Brightcliffe is currently pursuing his master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Saint Joseph’s University.

Dr. Caserio is a proud graduate of St. John Neumann High School (class of 1995) and brings 16 years of Athletic Management to the position with eight years as an Athletic Director.

Mr. Farrell is a product of Catholic Education in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, and an alumni of Saint Joseph’s University. He brings great experience to the team from his previous roles in Sales and Brokerage Services. Mr. Farrell is thrilled to help promote this great school community.

Ms. Graves is a graduate of The University of Tampa with bachelor’s degrees in Applied Dance and Human Performance with a concentration in Exercise Physiology. After college, she served two years as a missionary with Christ in the City both in their Denver and Philadelphia locations serving the poor and participating in formation. In her spare time she volunteers with a Catholic Art Collective, Arthouse2B, based in New York City, assisting with donor engagement and developmental efforts. She is honored to be here at Neumann Goretti and hopes to bring the zeal of the Lord to the community.

Nikki is a dynamic professional specializing in Development and Marketing within the Catholic sector. A proud 2008 graduate of Ss. Neumann Goretti and an alumna of Temple University, Nikki brings a wealth of experience in Nonprofit Event Planning and Fundraising from her recent role at the Legacy of Life Foundation.
A South Philadelphia native, Nikki comes from a storied lineage: She is the daughter of a 6th generation longshoreman and the granddaughter of Mary Kane, the pioneering first gym teacher and basketball coach at St. Maria Goretti High School, who served from its opening until 1977. Nikki’s deep roots in the community and dedication to moral integrity reflect her commitment to advancing Catholic Education in South Philadelphia.

Katie grew up outside of Philadelphia and attended archdiocesan schools from Pre-School through 12th grade. Afterwards, she continued her education at the University of Pittsburgh, where she got involved in studying Latin American languages and cultures. While there, she had the opportunity to do research in Colombia on the impact that coffee has on the cultural identity of Colombians. Katie also moderates the Spanish Cultural Appreciation Club at Ss. Neumann Goretti. In her free time, she likes to travel and spend time with friends and family.

Joey is a recent graduate of Widener University and has been a resident of South Philadelphia his entire life. His mother is a proud 1980 graduate of St. Maria Goretti High School. Joey currently serves as the Pastoral Council President at St. Richard of Chichester Parish. He is also an active member in St. Richard’s Choir. He is honored to begin his career at Neumann Goretti and intends to positively impact the community any way that he can.

I have held this position for 33 years as of September, 2022 and I’m happy to be beginning my 34th year with The Millay Club Alumni Association! I started in this position at St. John Neumann High School and continued with the merging of Ss. Neumann Goretti High School, merging both Alumni Associations.
