For your consideration:
  • AP Exams: Students enrolled in AP courses are required to take the AP exam in May. The exam fee is approximately $100.
  • Academic Rigor: AP courses demand strong motivation, independent study, and commitment to outside reading, research, and writing.
  • Attendance & Responsibility: Students must attend class regularly and take responsibility for missed work.
  • Commitment: Once enrolled, students cannot drop the course, even if they struggle academically.
  • College Credit: AP courses may lead to college credit, depending on the student’s exam performance and the policies of their prospective colleges.
