About Us
The present, co-educational Saints Neumann Goretti Catholic High School (Neumann Goretti) was formed in 2004. Along with its predecessors St. Maria Goretti for Girls and Southeast Catholic/Bishop Neumann/St. John Neumann for Boys high schools, SNG boasts a proud 85+ year tradition of Catholic High School education in South Philadelphia. In addition to Diocesan priests and lay persons, our legacy schools were managed and staffed by the Norbertines, over seven congregations of religious sisters, including IHM’s and SSJ’s, and religious brothers, whose spiritual traditions are the foundation of and continue to influence our current culture. The current campus is the former St. Maria Goretti campus in “East Passyunk Crossing”, a safe and thriving neighborhood where the old-world meets new-wave to create the backdrop for a dynamic and diverse school culture.
