The National Honor Society (NHS) is the nation’s premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to recognize those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, and character. Chapter membership not only recognizes students for their accomplishments, but challenges them to develop further through active involvement in school activities and community service. The Saints John Neumann and Maria Goretti Catholic High School (Neumann Goretti) Chapter of The National Honor Society is committed to the school’s mission of “preparing our students for college, career, and beyond as conscientious world citizens” by challenging the chapter’s membership to excel in an academically rigorous curriculum and become life-long learners. Chapter members are expected to develop and embody strong character through the practice of service and leadership.
NHS members of Neumann Goretti embody the school’s core values of compassion, courage, and commitment through their courses, service activities and participation in the school’s diverse local community.
