Board Members of Ss. Neumann Goretti as of July 2025

Deanna Telese is a Saint Maria Goretti Class of 94 graduate. She is a Certified Public Accountant. Deanna is a Board Member for an Animal Center, Neumann Goretti Development Committee and EITC committee member. Deanna is the longest tenured board member and is active in all event planning and development activities. Deanna is a lifelong south Philadelphia resident and has three children, one who graduated NG, one current student and one prospective student.

President – Timothy Cairy – Mr. Cairy is a proud St. John Neumann graduate and comes to us after serving over two decades as an administrator at Widener University. His most recent position being the Executive Director of Student Success. He holds a bachelor’s degree in History and master’s degrees in both Public Administration and Secondary Education.

Anne DeMasi, Class of 82, Global Regulatory Manager at Arcadium Lithium, Board Member Philadelphia American Chemical Society, Society for Hazard Communication

Life-long resident of Philadelphia, married with two daughters, sons-in-law, (all NG aums) 2 grandsons. Graduate of Chestnut Hill College (BS) and Villanova University (MS).

Treasurer – Vincent Ricchiuti – Vincent Ricchiuti, a healthcare insurance leader with nearly 30 years of experience, is a Bishop Neumann and LaSalle University alumnus. After starting in banking and finance, he transitioned to healthcare, holding senior roles at Blue Plans, Optum 360, and Citius Healthcare Consulting. A dedicated educator, he taught business and healthcare courses for 30 years at Thomas Jefferson and Holy Family Universities. Vince serves on the Saints Neumann Goretti Board, chairs its Development Committee, and founded the Girard Estate Neighbors Association. He lives in South Philadelphia with his wife, Lisa, a St. Maria Goretti graduate.

Linda Crusco – St. Maria Goretti – Class of 1971, President of The Millay Club, Nominating Committee; More than 50 years experience as an Insurance Agent for Biddle and Company/Assured Partners. AFter graduating from SMG in 1971, Linda worked in the insurance field. She began working at Biddle and Company in 1974 until 2018. Linda obtained her Property and Casualty Insurance License in 1980. Linda retired in 2023 after 52 years of service in the industry. 

Linda joined the Millay Club Board of Directors in 2004 following the merger. Linda planned the all-class reunions and served as co-chair for all reunion planning. Linda planned her class of 1971’s reunions for over 50 years. 

Linda served as Millay Club Treasurer before becoming President in June 2023. Linda also serves as a member of the Saints Neumann Goretti Advisory Board. In 2023 Linda was elected as Millay Club Alumna of the Year. 

Linda enjoys spending her free time traveling, baking and going down the shore with family. 

Louis DeAngelo, Ed.D., Superintendent of Schools, Diocese of Wilmington; Executive Coach, Catholic Leadership Cohort, Boston College; Education Committee Member, LaSalle Academy, Philadelphia; Consultant, William H. Sadlier, Inc. Dr. Louis P. De Angelo is the Superintendent of Schools and Secretary of Catholic Education for the Diocese of Wilmington, DE, which educates 8500+ students in Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12.  He is an Executive Coach at Boston College and has taught as an adjunct professor in Graduate Education at Neumann University, St. Joseph’s University, and Chestnut Hill College. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from La Salle University in Social Studies Education, a Master’s Degree from Temple University in the Psychology of Reading, and a Doctorate in Education from Immaculata University in Educational Leadership. 

Kevin Rudd Jr. is the managing partner and founder of Moonlit Bay Ventures (MBV), an investment and advisory firm dedicated to helping founder-owned companies achieve accelerated growth or successful liquidity events. Previously, Kevin served as Senior Vice President at the Center for Breakthrough Medicines, advising on corporate development, operational efficiencies, financing, and partnerships. He also held leadership roles at Recovery Centers of America, including CEO’s Chief of Staff, interim CEO of a 112-bed behavioral health hospital, and a member of the Clinical Counsel and Corporate Strategy Team. Earlier in his career, Kevin was part of PNC Capital Market’s Investment Banking Team, facilitating transactions for healthcare, government, and education institutions. Named to the Philadelphia Titan 100 Executive list in 2023 and Middle Market Growth’s Corporate Development Professionals to Watch in 2022, Kevin holds a BS in Energy Business Finance from Pennsylvania State University.

Francesca Russo – M.Ed. – Class of ’95, Principal of Saint Pio Regional Catholic School, Notre Dame University Cabrini Fellow, Catechist for Saint Mary of the Lakes Parish, Medford, New Jersey, Philadelphia Academy of School Leaders, Performance Partner, 2021-2022, Joseph’s University Bachelor of Science, 2000, Neumann University Masters of Educational Leadership, 2003. Francesca has spent 26 years in Catholic Education in addition to having served on the Board of Limited Jurisdiction for Saint Richard/Saint Pio School, the Archdiocese of Philadelphia Catholic Schools Onward Taskforce, 2020 – 2022, the Parent Advisory Council for Kirby’s Mill Elementary School from 2017-2022 in Medford, New Jersey, and having served as a Teacher and Live Animal Handler for The Academy of Natural Science of Drexel University from 1999 to 2022.

Brian N. Squilla is the Sr. Vice President of Operations & Vice Dean for Administration for Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA.  Brian graduated from St. John Neumann High School and Temple University with a BBA & MBA.  Over 25 years of comprehensive experience in all facets of Business and Research Administration in the most prestigious academic healthcare institutions in Philadelphia. Brian works directly with executive leadership and faculty, involving operations, strategic planning and implementation, information technology, human resources, and budget preparation. Brian is an active presenter for professional organizations and a peer reviewer for Middle States and the National Council of University Research Administrators.  He also serves as Sidney Kimmell Medical College’s Principal Business Officer for the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC).

In Brian’s personal time, he enjoys spending quality time with his family.  His two sons are his most precious gifts.  Watching his boys grow, helping with their travel baseball teams, and spending quality time with them is priceless and his greatest value on investment. 

Mark Squilla – Class of 80, 1st District City Councilmember, Philadelphia – Mark Squilla represents Philadelphia’s First District on City Council, covering neighborhoods from South Philadelphia to Kensington. First elected in 2011, his public service began in the 1990s, organizing community projects like the renovation of Burke Playground and leading Whitman Council as president. Before his council role, Mark spent over 25 years in the Pennsylvania Auditor General’s Office, championing government accountability. A graduate of St. John Neumann High School and LaSalle University, he chairs the Commerce & Economic Development Committee and serves on several others. Mark lives in South Philadelphia with his wife, Brigid, and their growing family of four children and four grandchildren.

Sherita Glenn – Sherita Glenn is an alumna of St. Maria Goretti High School, class of 1984. She is a member of Ss. Neumann Goretti Board of Trustees and serves on the Development  Committee. She is a community activist currently serving as the 49th Ward leader for the city of Philadelphia and on the Mayor’s Office of Neighborhood and Community Engagement’s District 9 Community Advisory Board. 

She has served the past decade as a community member on Jefferson Einstein Philadelphia Hospital Patient Safety committee. She is a member of the Deaconess Ministry of Enon Tabernacle Baptist church serving on the joint executive board. Sherita is a graduate of Eastern University. She is the former director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Drexel University College  of Medicine. Sherita loves spending time with her family, friends, and encouraging others. Her hobbies are reading, writing, and dancing.

Rocco Rugnetta – Rocco Rugnetta is a First Vice President and Senior Financial Advisor in the Global Wealth Management division of Merrill Lynch. With over two decades of experience in financial services, he specializes in Advisory and Wealth Planning Services, working with affluent families, business owners, executives, and both for-profit and non-profit organizations.

Rocco joined Merrill Lynch in 2006 after a decade of managing the retirement services divisions of two large investment firms. He is a Senior Retirement Benefits Consultant and holds the Certified 401(k) Professional Designation from The Retirement Advisor University® in collaboration with the UCLA Anderson School of Management Executive Education. His expertise spans investments, retirement income strategies, corporate retirement plans—including 401(k), SEP, and Defined Benefit plans—endowment and trust services, and college 529 plans.

Rocco earned his MBA in Finance from Saint Joseph’s University in 1999 and his undergraduate degree from LaSalle University. He is also a graduate of The Institute for Employee Benefits Training in Philadelphia.

A proud Philadelphia resident, Rocco lives with his wife, Erika, and their sons, Rocco and Christian. He is actively involved in his community, serving on the board of directors for the Christopher Doto Memorial Scholarship Foundation and coaching youth baseball for Saint Richard’s Parish. Additionally, he volunteers with Guerin Recreation Center, DVYAA, and SEYAA, helping to support local youth sports and community programs.
