???? Why did you choose University at Albany?
???? "When I looked at the school, I saw that it was diverse and gave opportunities for me. The school is big and it really gives me that home away from home experience."

???? What are your career aspirations?
???? "Throughout my career, I want to try to get others' stories out. It would be nice to create stories that are not only relatable but also let people know that they have a purpose every time they wake up. We should try to hear others’ perspectives and get to know others for who they are instead of the labels that they have."

???? How has your high school experience helped you grow as a person?
???? "High school was difficult, both inside and outside of school. However, I think these four years taught me a lot. There was Covid, and I was a transfer student from Hallahan. While it was exciting to come to a different school, this came with challenges - especially on a social level. It’s like you have to find where you will fit in. There are new teachers, new curriculums, new events, etc. 

Within my junior and senior years, I was really able to get out of my comfort zone and explore some instruments within our music department. It was uncomfortable being placed in front of people to play, but it was worth it. Outside of school, I’ve grown spiritually and learned that as much as I have problems, so do others. We’re all human, and none of us can pretend to be perfect all the time. We have stories that are continuously being written each day."
