Neumann Goretti’s SADD leaders visited Jefferson Hospital’s Trauma Department, where Jefferson staff presented on their experiences working with car crash victims. The discussion included current local statistics and how students can help. The SADD leaders are planning to educate their peers about auto safety during a presentation in March.

Students Against Destructive Decisions

Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) helps empower young people to successfully confront the risks and pressures that challenge them throughout their daily lives by creating, equipping and sustaining a network of student-run chapters in schools and communities focused on peer-to-peer education. Neumann Goretti SADD students presented a Bullying Workshop to Philadelphia 4th grade students, focusing on Blocking: rumors, gossip, put downs, and cyber bullying. Neumann Goretti SADD leaders used games, skits, and role plays to teach their younger counterparts how to SQUASH bullying.
